Writing was my first love in connecting and communicating with others. I have learned through the years that depending on the platform, each format is unique to its audience and should be crafted with that engagement in mind.
 

Before becoming Carroll University's first and only electronic communications coordinator, I enjoyed a 20-year career as a newspaper journalist, departing from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel to pursue a new career in higher education. In my current role, I strategize content and thrill in the opportunities to share stories through the @Carrollu Alumni Newsletter and F1rst magazine. I have been a consistent freelance writer since 2009 with The Milwaukee Business Journal and have been published in New York Daily News and Milwaukee Magazine.
